You might be able to order this kind of clay in India. I am not sure if they do international orders. If not you can try to find a quality plastiline in India. Modeling Kids Clay is the technically the same type of stuff but not as high of quality and usually quite a bit softer. It’s good to have clay that is not so soft in order to hold it’s shape better while sculpting and molding the sculpture. Good Luck.
We at the Idaho Art Lab always love having you as an artist-in-residence. You are an amazingly talented artist, phenomenal teacher (Shelley has SUCH an asset!) and you have become a great friend. Your demonstration was amazing, as usual. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and with all those who visited the Lab during your residency! – Kara Hidalgo
I really enjoyed reading about your project, the process and being truthful about the process involved the sketch you made didn’t meet your expectations. But despite that you continued to push through. Thank-you for taking us all along on your journey, I found it inspiring to see you finish this all the way to end to reveal a most beautiful sculpture, your wife makes a very beautiful model too!
It has been such a pleasure and honor to watch you at work this week. You are a truly inspired artist.
Thank you Dez. It was inspiring being there at the Art Lab with all of you wonderful people. I appreciate your comment and your friendship.
Daniel..Thanks for these details. Truly appreciate it!! I am not sure if I can get such clay in India. I probably will only get kids clay..
