Anthem

Titled after the book Anthem by Ayn Rand, this sculpture is a visual anthem of a man breaking out of constraints. It contributes to my Anthem Series of sculptures containing Shelter, Lotus, Momentum, and One.  I call it my Anthem Series because these sculptures have a dynamic strength to them, similar to what you would hear in the many musical anthems of the world. An anthem is a song that people can connect to and rally behind. I think of these sculptures as Visual Anthems.
