The inspiration for this piece came from a photo I took of my eight-year-old daughter during an Easter egg hunt. I liked the motion and excitement she showed and I thought it would be fun to add a little more whimsy to the scene with magical woodland creatures. Childhood is a very magical time of our lives and this sculpture helps capture that magic.
